Kiss – Detroit Rock City (Video)
Alright, saw KISS last week. This was the first time I’ve ever seen KISS live. But there is more to the story. When KISS came to town, it was my nephew’s 18th birthday. I tossed up the idea of seeing KISS. He wasn’t a big fan. We went anyway. He loved the show. KISS, with the two lead artists in their 60′s still rock the crap out of you.
The pyro, mind boggling. The special effects, the same. Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley were awesome. These dudes can still rock. I’ve been going to concerts for over 35 years. Seen lot’s and lot’s. I put KISS at #2, just behind ELO.
I saw ELO in 1979, in there prime. What does that say about KISS, the two leads in there 60′s on there 40th anniversary tour is #2. If you get the chance to see KISS live, do it. They will be wrapping it up soon.
By the way, my nephew loved KISS. I took him because the bands today, don’t put on that kind of show. So sad, the new acts, no pyro, no special effects, just nothing.
I picked Detroit Rock City to post, It’s Cody’s favorite KISS song. I love my nephew, how could I not do it. I’m so thankful to him to allow me to expose him to the best, KISS. We asked for the best and we got the best! KISS LIVE, ROCKS !!!!!
